Scholarships
The Granger Business Association, a non-profit organization, has raised enough money to award four $2,500.00 scholarships to area students to help defray college expenses. Criteria for selection of the winners include (but not limited to) academics, extra-curricular activities, volunteer work, and several short essays. Applicants also must reside in the 46530 zip code to receive initial consideration. The winners of the 2022 GBA Scholarships are as follows:
Molly Oates is the daughter of Daniel Oates and Tina Oates. She is a graduate of Penn High School and will head to Indiana University Bloomington in the fall. She plans to study Science focusing on Cellular Biology.
Ryan Saroian is the son of Michael and Sharon Saroian. Ryan will attend Indiana University Bloomington where he was a direct admit into the Kelly School of Business, he will be focusing on Finance. He is a graduate of Penn High School.
Gregory Trim and Anna Trim are the parents of Lauren Trim. Lauren is a graduate of Penn High School and will attend Purdue University in West Lafayette. Lauren will major in Engineering.
Rachel Yaun is the daughter of John Yaun and Miao Zhong. Rachel will attend Indiana University Bloomington and will major in Accounting. She is a graduate of Penn High School.
